For the past 10 years, GRID's principals have been accumulating land and geothermal rights east of Fernley NV in the Hazen KGRA. Current fee ownership is 4,500 acres.

To assist GRID in the plans and development of the project, GRID has retained and used services from many professionals. The core GRID group has extensive experience in real estate and business, but such an ambitious project involves the services of outside experts, especially in geothermal exploration and geology. Current plans for geothermal uses on the propety include:
